Who is the Modern Femme Fatale?
To answer this question, we need to review WHAT a femme fatale actually is. The black noir film era introduced the femme fatale. She was the depiction of villain taking the shape of a seductive and beautiful woman. Driven by money, power, and wealth and uses sexuality to lure in and manipulate men.
Translated roughly they took the image of an assertive woman who was not a mother, was not a wife, and was sexually aware and made her out to be evil.

The Modern Femme Fatale is all bout finding control in your world by embracing the persona of the most misrepresented fictional and non-fictional women of the millennium, as well as how they used their influence to get what they want, and never apologised for it.

My Story

Writing and journaling have always been a big part of life. Since my teens it has been my creative outlet and mental health vessel, helping me channel all my emotions onto paper when I found myself spiraling.
Fast forward – I’m 32 now. I live in New York. I’m at the peak of my career. I have made new friends that have become family. I have new power in places that I’m always discovering. I am at the peak of my sexual awakening. I know my body and how to dress, how to eat, how to drink… I am – for all intents and purposes – a very privileged human. And yet I'm still battling with anxiety and depression.

I was over feeling so helpless and out of sync with my emotions. So I created The Modern Femme Fatale persona to remind myself to embody fierceness and strength to combat modern challenges we face every day.

TMFF is a destination where we dive into topics that center around a modern-day woman's world. We will discuss Dating & Romance, Career & Professional life, Trends and Lifestyle, and of course Self-love and mental health. All the major parts of a female's world and we will build an empowering community around them.
